I2Logi tracking is an application of the Suite intrinsically integrated
to the I2Logi Map module, being ultimately responsible for the monitoring
of multi-modal routes that use the network of ways, as well as the vehicles
position, with moving targets and maps
The I2Logi tracking application primary goal is the centralized optimization
of the usage of a transportation resource network, through online monitoring.
Given a set of transportation resources – trucks, aircrafts, ships,
… – and a geo referenced transportation infra-structure –
roads, streets, rivers, … – the application will display the
actual vehicle position, allowing suggesting to the user the optimal allocation
of the resources for the multiple required shipping routes.
Both modules have been constructed on a J2EE platform, taking full advantage
of an n-tier architecture easily accessible through the Internet.
